Commitment to Our Community
CTS is an active corporate citizen, supporting many organizations through corporate sponsorships, donations and volunteer efforts.
In support of the YWCA’s mission to empower women and eliminate racism, several members of the CTS team perform volunteer service. Currently, CTS Founder and President Julie Scott serves on the Executive Committee of the Board as Treasurer, and Chair of the Finance Committee. Previously, she served on the Audit Committee.
CTS is a proud sponsor of the 2011 YWCA Leader Luncheon, which hosted over 1,200 guests and supporters. CTS has sponsored this event each year since 2003.
As a start-up organization established to educate and train Afghan women on a fair-labor, sustainable basis, Julie Scott led the financial efforts to secure a Federal Grant to launch the program in collaboration with former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Connie Duckworth.
In addition to the above, our staff is actively involved within the community and supports other charitable organizations including:
Greater Chicago Food Depository
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure
American Diabetes Association
St. Jude Children’s Medical Research
AIDS Foundation of Chicago
